Very late..but.. The Cute Pouch
You people may have seen the little purse I made for my daughter using scrap squares.
Today I am sharing how did I made this pouch. I used scrap yarn to create 3″squares in sc (single crochet). Out of the five squares used in this pouch two are of one color and three are of the other color. Now this is how I made thie pouch from the squares;
1) sew the five squares as in the pic below.
2) Fold as directed and sew to get the pouch.
3) For the strap, join yarn at the one top corner of the pouch and crochet a chain as long as desired. Join with sl st to the other end.

Tiny for March
I worked in delta crochet for the March doily.
The pattern is from Hassdesign This is the pattern from their CAL for the delta crochet. It was fast and fun to work in delta crochet. Maybe I’ll be crocheting another doily in delta crochet soon.
I’ll be frogging it!!
I worked on Arroyo shawl; a pattern by Sarah H. Wolf; and it was nice working on it. It was an easy pattern and very good for beginning lace work.
I used Vardhman Millenium; 8ply/DK weight; for it in sky blue color. It was a quick knit and working on it was fun. But I feel I’ll frog it and work on it again. The reason is it has grown up so long and I fear after blocking how long will it become. The yarn was a little on bulky side and that is also the reason I want to frog the shawl and work again with smaller needles.
hot from the hooks
I recently finished some knit and crochet.
This is top crocheted in shell stitches. My sister had given me yarn for some knit for her. I thought of trying some patterns but ended up with creating one by myself. I used 3ply Martina yarn for this, about three balls, worked with F(3.75mm) hook for this.
I am in LOVE
I am in love with the drawings of my little daughter Aaku. when ever I see her drawings I want to stay there and watch them forever! Really the cute details of her drawings are making me full of joy and love. I don’t know if any one else would feel the same to her drawings but I really am loving them. It’s not that Achu is not making some but Aaku is very clever in giving the details to her drawings.
Have a look at her sun.
And the spiders!
