I had worked on thread projects but never felt the need of blocking, truely speaking I didn’t know anything about blocking till I saw some post about it at Ravelry. after that I tried my hand on blocking and found the miraculous changes. I blocked my two long pending centerpieces yesterday.
DH saw this and said when did you do this! He did’t realise it was an old piece 🙂 I am happy to see how the work has opened up and I can see all the details clearly.

I managed to have some greens from my planters the other day.
I know its not too much or even enough for preparing one serving, but it is my first yield, so I have to show off 😉
It is mix or Amaranth, Spinach and Mustard greens.

My daughters will be changing school soon and I wanted to give a thank you gift to their teacher. so I crocheted a pair of earrings
and I kept these in a little pouch which was attached to a key ring.
I have been missing from this place for a while as a lot of things happened so fast, I didn’t get time to think also. After my last post I was busy for the annual day celebration at school and I had planned to have a post on that but just two days after the annual day I had to rush Achu to hospital.
She was complaining pain in her stomach and I thought that it was upset stomach and gave her pain killer and asked to just rest. But when she complained the pain the second day and I saw some swelling in lower part of abdomen, we took appointment to our regular pediatric (which was for the next morning). The doctor checked her and asked us to go for scan and around 12 noon we were waiting again for doctor to see the reports which were indicating “Appendicitis” (I was surprised as there was no symptom which could indicate this, but the pain) So doctor checked the report and immediately referred to pediatric surgeon. And in about 1 and 1/2 hrs she was in operation theater.
I am so amazed to see her not complaining for a lot of things and bravely doing what was asked; be it eating nothing for a day or trying walking all by herself after one day. she is fine now and is back in normal routine.
