Mandala madness

If you are a crochet inthusiastic you’ll surely know what I am talking about. Yes it is the Mandala CAL by Official CCC Social Group. I had tried earlier “Sophies universe” but couldn’t continue due to some reasons. So when I saw the videos on itsallinnutshell YouTube channel I knew I have to do it. Here is my work after first part.

I started it without any plans on colours or yarn. I am using the acraylic bits from my stash and so far have managed to get good results; at least in my opinion 😉

Purse

I usually crochet things that are decorative and useful. So when there was a CAL to make bags in Ravelry, I thought to try. The search for the pattern was not difficult as I had one in my favorites list. And here is the final project:

I used cotton yarn for the bag and did a cotton lining for it. Added a zipper pocket as well.

The handles are made of wooden beads which I found in nearby store.

January Doily

I finished it on 1st Feb but couldn’t post till now. This is pineapple doily #48 from Nihon Vogue book Pineapple Lace I used about 4 balls (20g each) of white and 2 balls of pink Red Rose crochet cotton no. 20 [I still have to block the doily.]
