spinach cheese omelette sandwich

A quick and tasty breakfast recipe. All you need is

2eggs

spinach 1/2cup

cheese 1/4 cup grated

salt to taste

chilli powder according to taste

1tsp oil ( to grease the tava/pan)

butter 2tsp

bread slices 2

method:

lightly beat the eggs, add salt, chilli powder according to taste. Heat tava/ pan and lightly grease with oil. turn the heat medium,  pour the egg mix, sprinkle the spinach and cheese.

(I used cheese slices as I didn’t have other cheese)

cut the bread slices diagonally. put the slices over the cooking omelette, spread butter on the top.

cover and cook for a minute. and it is done 🙂

cut the wedges and serve.

Oat and Gram flour cookies

Makes 2 dozon
Ingredients
1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
1 cup oat flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
75gm amul butter (salted butter)
1tbsp hung curd
1tsp baking powder
1 tbsp cardamom powder
Pistachio for decoration

Method
Melt butter.
Mix all dry ingredients.
Add melted butter and mix add curd.
Make small balls or take spoon full and keep on cookie sheet.  Press a pistachio in the middle.
Bake in preheated oven at 180C for about 15 minutes.
Let cool on wire rake.
Store in airtight container..

Enjoy this healthy cookie with tea,  coffee or milk.

Other than this they were quite busy in water colour painting, which got the finishing touches today, so will be showing them later.

2013-10-20 10.10.17Spinach Roulade with yogurt,  I didn’t have the swiss roll tin so backed the mix in cake tin, and so the rolls are turned into the squares.

Recipe from Here  substituted the fromage frais with hung curd.

I managed to have some greens from my planters the other day.

I know its not too much or even enough for preparing one serving, but it is my first yield, so I have to show off 😉

It is mix or Amaranth, Spinach and Mustard greens.

So we had to leave house early.. I prepared everything and asked DH to just assemble and make sandwiches for the children and he wanting not to stand and making so asked kids to make their own sandwiches.

pinterest inspired

I have been pinning things on my pinterest  boards for quite some time. so much inspiration there..  I was so much loving the Skinny Chocolate Chip Buttermilk Scones and decided to make them at last.

I followed all the instructions but still my results were so different then the pic shown in the recipe.  this is what I got out of my oven

As is seen it is more like a cake but a scone, but still it was tasty and everyone loved it!
