we did dig the mud ….
we backed honey yoghurt muffins…
we made the pompom doll
we ate homemade doughnuts
we made a yarn wrapped vase
and we sang “do you want to build a snowman? ” all day long!! 🙂
the border colour is bleeding but I like the effect it is giving to the tee 🙂 the knit is fitting perfectly and I like the length. it is a clever pattern from tincanknits worked upside down seamlessly.
Yes she is knitting!! Call me crazy…. when Achu went to see the doctor, Aaku kept asking me what should she do? I had things in mind but if I would start without Achu… she will be grumpy all day saying I only love Aaku not her. so I asked Aaku to make a dress for her doll and I ment a fabric dress, as I was knitting Aaku said she will knit a skirt for her doll! I had to show her…. she did one ribbing row, that means one full row of 17 sts k1p1. 🙂
and what else… if Aaku has done something how Achu will not do that
here is she with her knitted scarf
Other than this they were quite busy in water colour painting, which got the finishing touches today, so will be showing them later.
It was a busy Saturday, and we had a lot of fun. In the morning when I was busy in kitchen and DH was out, Achu asked her sister to show the coloring to her. And when I went in the room they both were so busy in their work
Later I backed Black Forest Gateau from Sanjeev Kapoors Simple Home Backing. Kids had fun decorating it with tooty fruity and James.
Yesterday we did learn how to know the weight of the purchased item, also we did the comparisons of the weights of the items.
I also made almost instant mango ice-cream for us…. On my knitting I was able to find out the mistake and did frog the project to restart it from the last correct row. not much progress on the project though.
Its been a while since I updated what my girls are doing. so here you go
My kids had a fancy dress competition today. The theme was nursery rhyme characters and they had to dress as their favourite Nursery rhyme character and had to do a small presentation on it- not more than 1 minute. Achu choose “Mary had a little lamb”
It was super easy, I only had to sew this lamb out of a white towel 🙂
Aaku’s rhyme was ”Baa, Baa black sheep” And here is she before leaving to school
I made this coat by sewing cotton straps on her old shirt, same for the head. She is looking so pretty with the three bags in her hand, isn’t she?
So my Mary said that she was one of the selected students from her class, and my Black sheep got afraid and needed help to sing the rhyme!!
